Meet my daughter's Miss Maggie Rabbit, given to her on her seventh birthday. She was instantly adored and has been carried around the house, out of the house, into the park and into bed and with each new venue she needs a new outfit too, of course. I made her using the Posie gets Cozy kit. I can not say enough good things about the quality and cuteness of the kit, it is beautifully done and so easy to follow. This Maggie was the first one I ever made, though she has been stored away while I finished her wardrobe. She has a nightdress and an additional dress and shawl all made from the original pattern. I also made the hooded coat, the sweater and the knitted dress. I planned to make some trousers and a shirt but I ran out of steam. Maybe for Christmas.
I purchased some accessories to go with Maggie. She is a little smaller than a Maileg medium bunny but their clothes so kind of fit (but they are a little long). She got a dressing gown and a ballet outfit and some tights. Maggie also got her own bed which can be adjusted to fit her perfectly. We already had the little stove from years ago, so Maggie has plenty to eat. Everything was wrapped and bundled in this little suitcase from Land of Nod and has been in constant play since.
